I see these spools as bones in many of my creative endeavors. A spool is both the origin and the end point. Each empty spool once held thread that has been consumed by various projects, leaving behind only its form as evidence. Arranged across the wall, the spools become a record of process and transformation, tracing where materials begin, how they are spent, and what remains after their purpose is fulfilled. Reflecting on cycles of creation and consumption, the act of making also becomes an act of disappearance.
